Space cake
When you ever visited a real Dutch coffeeshop in Amsterdam you already know the fun: space cake! Space cake is just a regular cake made with 'space' ;) You can use hashish like in this recipe but it is easier to make this space cake with weed butter. When you like to go the weed butter route then just leave the 'space' out and use instead of regular butter your home made weed butter.
Ingredients
For 8 persons:- 10 gram space
- 200 gram flour
- 200 gram butter
- 200 gram sugar
- 4 eggs
- 8 gram baking powder
- 8 gram vanilla sugar
- 2 tablespoon milk
- Pinch of salt
Method
Sieve the flour in a large bowl
Cut the butter in small cubes and add to the flour.
Add the eggs to the flour and butter mixture.
Add the baking powder and vanilla sugar to the mixture
Add salt and mix everything to a nice and smooth batter.
When making the space cake by using hashish then cut it as fine as possible and add the crumbs to the butter. Then mix very wel for a few minutes.
'Lupe' a cake tin with some regular butter.
Preheat the oven to 160° Celsius or 320° Fahrenheit.
Bake the space cake in about 1.5 hour nice golden brown, do not open windows ;)
